COUNTERPOINT FOR COMPOSERS - FUGUE & INVENTIONS

These worksheets are designed for intermediate composition students who have already mastered harmony, form, analysis, and have a basic understanding of contrapuntal procedures. The worksheets alternate between tonal and atonal activities in order to illuminate the hierarchical differences between musical elements in both realms. The culmination of the course is the creation of a tonal and atonal fugue.
